Art Exhibition! Artist’s Salon! Music! People’s Choice!
The Plein Air Painters of BAC invite ALL plein air painters ( non-members are welcome ! )
to join a fun two day event at Belmar Arts Center featuring a POP UP exhibition, a chance to vote for a favorite painting, a musical event by Matt Trice and an Artist’s Salon and Reception.
We will accept registrations until 5:00 pm on Friday September 9.
As the space is limited, registration will be limited to the first 20 artists. The fee is $5.00 for 1 or 2 paintings, no need to be framed, any size.
The schedule for the two day event:
On Friday September 9, from 5:00-7:00, registered Plein Air Artists will install their own 1-2 paintings in the gallery on easels provided. As this event is a FUND-Raiser, visitors to the gallery may purchase a ballot for $2 to VOTE for their favorite painting! We encourage all artists help “get out the vote” by promoting this event with family and friends. And of course, all are invited to stay and enjoy the MUSIC at 7:00 by Matt Trice
On Saturday September 10, the BAC Gallery will be open from 11-3:00, and the public is welcome to stop in and enjoy the paintings, available for purchase, and VOTE for their favorite one.
The Artist’s Salon and Reception from 5:00-7:00 on September 10 will be in the gallery and the public is invited to attend. Some of the participating artists will share in a Salon style open-ended discussion about the “process and pitfalls” of plein air painting. Beautiful skies, windy days and bugs included!
The People’s Choice “VOTE” will close at 6:00, and the winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
Artists are asked to remove their paintings at the end of the Salon event.
This is a fun “FUND-raiser” for the BAC, and we encourage all our Plein Air Friends/Artists to help make this event a success by participating and promoting this event with family and friends.
