Theme and Description
This will be an exhibit of art on alternative canvases or alternative art techniques or sculptures of scraps.
We are looking for art projects painted on objects such as on clothing (hats, pants or t-shirts) wood, metal
surfaces, driftwood, seashells or any other surface than canvas. This could include a musical instrument
(For example: a guitar), watering can, driftwood, mailbox, flowerpot, a pair of skis, or any other surface.
We are also accepting the actual object for the art show (such as sculptures made of items laying around
the house or photography related objects of art. As part of this nontraditional canvas art, we are accepting
art using a palette knife or other techniques other than a traditional paint brush. Here are some
photographs of nontraditional art forms.
We would like to share with art lovers and artists all forms of art. This exhibit will share
different ways to enjoy art. There is no question that art can come in many forms. So, enter this unique
show with an art object that you created.
