ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kelly is the owner of the Jewelry Joint in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. The Jewelry Joint started out as a dream for Kelly, whose inspiration stemmed from her passion for both jewelry and design. In 2007 Kelly realized her true love for jewelry design, forming a deep rooted drive within herself to accomplish her dream, which compelled her to enroll in classes at Studio Jewelers, LTD. in Manhattan. During her time at Studio Jewelers, Kelly learned many techniques and how to implement them into her designs and creations. But beyond that, it was there that she discovered that wax modeling and enameling were among her favorite overall techniques in jewelry design. As a result, upon completion of the Comprehensive Jewelry Training Course, Kelly chose to specialize in wax modeling. Kelly finished her studies at Studio Jewelers which fully opened up her eyes to the colorful, creative world of jewelry design, and she knew there was no turning back! She continued to pursue learning at various other Jewelry studios/schools in the tri-state area, taking in all she could and relishing in the design process, all while taking the next steps in the journey to follow her dreams. But, that isn’t where it stopped for her! Kelly loved learning the design process so much that she has expanded her dream of opening her own store to another level. Now her ultimate dream in life is to open a jewelry school of her very own someday, so she can pass on the art of jewelry creation and design to others.
