This exciting NEW workshop will feature:
(1) HISTORY & CULTURE – points of interest
(2) VARIETIES OF GOURDS
(3) EMBELLISHMENT TECHNIQUES
The embellishment techniques I use are mainly a Leather Dye, which is alcohol based since the Gourd is very porous. It’s like using a watercolor on paper.
All Gourds are hand chosen by the artist from the farm in Amish Country, PA. All Gourds are individually hand drilled, sanded, cleaned & washed, then dried… ready to be embellished.
Embellishment techniques vary & are custom designed…they are all one-of-a-kind pieces of art inspired by nature.
All supplies are included.
BelmarArts Members: $65/Non-Members: $85
