You must register, preferably online, or by phone or email by 6:00 P.M. the evening before the class date.  If registering online, you do NOT need a PayPal account, you may select a alternate form of payment.  If you prefer to pay in cash or check, you may bring it with you to class; but, you still need to register via email or phone so instructors know you will be there.  Otherwise, classes may be cancelled.

The classes will cover the Grid Method, Point Perspective, Color Theory, Applied Color, Watercolor Painting, Symmetry and Composition, Still Life Drawing, Contour Drawing, Positive and Negative Space, Pastel Drawing, Portraiture. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Valerie Morone has a BFA in Illustration from Northern Arizona University, and is a New Jersey Certified Teacher of Art K-12. She has also studied art at The Kansas City Art Institute and The School of Visual Arts.  She was a Line Designer and Artist at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri from 1982 to 1988. She moved to New Jersey in 1988 when she married. From 1988 – 2003 she worked as a Freelance Illustrator designing greeting cards, paper products, advertisements and creating background art for animated short films.

Since then she has been an art tutor for elementary school through high school students. She has taught watercolor classes as an Instructor for Continuing and Professional Education at Ocean County College as well as working for the Brick Board of Education as a substitute teacher.

She has been a member of the Laurelton Art Society since 1989 where she has given demonstrations and presentations and exhibited her paintings.
