A porcelain vase with attached flowers you sculpted, an arrangement of flowers in a vase, a “Capodimonte-type” water lily sculpture–exercise your creativity and provide you with beautiful, lasting gifts or art for your home. The Botanical and Flower Sculpture Class offers your choice of medium–porcelain clay, ceramic clay, or sugar paste.  Each week will offer a different sculpture; tools are provided for your use during class, the cost of materials is $5, firing is available (if needed).  You may also purchase additional supplies, at cost, such as: vases, boxes, bases, etc.

Sugar Paste

Sugar Paste is a sugar formulation used worldwide for many years to make decorations for cakes.  Sculptures made in this medium can be used on desserts, or displayed as art.  Your work will last; but is fragile—like porcelain.
