The warm rays of the “Jersey Shore Moments Art Show” are rising just over the horizon and shining on the BelmarArts in July. Inspired by the unique shore lifestyle, this show will display artisan crafts and fine art of all mediums. So feel the warmth grow and spread the word as the waves of the “Jersey Shore Moments Art Show” land at BelmarArts!
EXHIBITION AND SALE ENTRY RULES

Location: BelmarArts @ the Boatworks 608 River Road in Belmar
Exhibit and Sale Dates: Saturday, July 5 through Friday, August 15
Summer Gallery Hours: Wednesday & Thursday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pick-up Work: Saturday, Aug 16 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
We are looking for original art inspired by life at the Jersey Shore.
- Open to all artists who meet the criteria.
- We will accept framed or matted photography, paintings, drawings or sculpture.
- We will accept small, unique, original, one of a kind, cards, postcards, ornaments and similar items.
- All items must be hand created by you (not just assembled).
- All items must be unique, one of kind, original artisan creations.
- All items must be display ready.
- Jewelry must be display ready. (You must provide your own display.)
- Wall hangings must be wired and ready to hang. (No Exceptions.)
- Note: Maximum size for any artwork is 48” in any direction.
- Framed two-dimensional pieces over 36 inches normally displayed under glass must have plexiglass.
- 25 lb. maximum weight for work intended to hang on walls.
- 3-D artwork maximum weight is 60 lb.
This show is “cash and carry”. If an item is sold we encourage the artist to replace it with another similar item at no additional fee.
Once we have received your on-line registration and payment you will receive identification number(s) and inventory sheet to fill out specific to your item(s). When delivering your items they must be tagged with selling price and ID number. CLICK HERE Jersey Shore Moments Inventory Sheet
Please do not include your name, address or phone number on these tags or the items. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in items not being displayed. You are welcome to supply BelmarArts with business cards in a holder.
We recommend your entries not exceed a selling price of $400/item.
All items must be presented in a professional manner and though a non-juried show any item may be denied entry if they do not meet above criteria as determined at the sole discretion of the art show committee. The number of pieces accepted will be based upon gallery space available.

Any display cases/pieces that you can supply, especially for jewelry or matted prints would be helpful and should be marked with your name and ID number to ensure their return to you when picking up your work.
Entry Fee: Non-refundable entry fee is payable online by credit card or PayPal account to BelmarArts at the time of registration.
1-6 items $25 BelmarArts Member/$40 Non-Member
7-12 items $35 BelmarArts Members/$55 Non-Member
Entry fee does not include annual membership, you may add this at checkout.
Digital Specifications and Submission:
Digital photos must be taken and submitted along with your online application. All artists must submit a digital image of their work to verify that the show theme and quality is being met only, as this show IS NOT JURIED. After checkout, you will receive an AUTO generated email that your submission is complete. Please prepare your work for drop off on June 28 unless we notify you that your work does not meet the criteria of the show committee or that information is missing, no additional acceptance notices will be sent.
Please save the files as jpeg type files. Each photo should be named in the following manner listed below:

up to 12 images may be submitted. (Please do not group items together, you must submit individually)
These jpeg image file files must be approximately 100 DPI and about 7 inches at longest dimension. Keep the file size at no larger than 1 MB for each image as our system cannot accept large files.
All entries MUST be available for sale. Items sold are subject to a 30% (for BelmarArts Members) or 40% (non-members) commission fee. Sales tax will be added to the price of work sold. Collection of payments and remittance of NJ Sales Tax will be handled by BelmarArts. All artists with sales commissions of $600 or more per calendar year are required to furnish their SS# or TaxId# to BelmarArts. A 1099 for taxable income will be issued by BelmarArts for sales commissions of $600 or higher. All artists will be notified via email regarding sales of their work during the show. Commissions are mailed after the show closes.
BelmarArts will make every effort to treat your artwork with care. However, artwork is submitted at the artist’s risk. BelmarArts will not be held liable for lost or damaged work. Artists are responsible for insuring their work from delivery to pick-up.
BelmarArts reserves the right to use digital images of accepted and exhibited entries for the sole purpose of media and website PR and advertising. Digital images will be those photographs taken by BelmarArts staff and press photographers.
