Miniatures Workshops

All ages welcome

Perfect for all ages and skills, this imaginative workshop will create a tiny fairy world in a small dish or teacup! The different styles of fairy gardens will be presented and the importance of scale and choosing the proper plants will be emphasized. All planting soils, stones, and miniature plants, as well as some miniature accessories and a small dish or teacup, will be provided. We will make one garden accessory from natural materials. You can also bring your own small-scale miniatures, shells, fairy figurine, furniture, or accessories as well as your own additional small dish or teacup.

Instruction fee: $25 members / nonmembers $35 for adults/$10 for youth, membership not required
Materials fee*: $15 adults each/$5 youth each – payable at workshop. Cash only- exact change appreciated.
All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Seating is limited to 30 participants so please register early! Adults and children may use one form – please let us know how many seats to reserve!

Louise Krasniewicz is an award-winning miniaturist and miniature gardener. She has exhibited her miniature garden scenes in the Philadelphia Flower Show (twice winning Best in Show), the Singapore Garden Festival, and the New Jersey Flower and Garden Show. Her miniature art has been exhibited in numerous galleries and shows including at Belmar Arts, Philadelphia Miniaturia, D. Thomas Fine Miniatures, The National Building Museum, and the Bryn Mawr Film Institute. She recently created the outdoor miniature scenes in the renovated front gardens at Belmar Arts. The first thing she did upon moving to Belmar was create a miniature garden in her front yard!
