Shared Interest Groups

Do you prefer a more informal learning experience?  Share experiences, tips, and practices in such diverse areas as artwork critique, photography, creative writing, and costume model drawing.
All groups are facilitated by a BAC member volunteer and meetings are free for BAC members.  Guests are warmly welcomed for any two meetings but after that a membership is required.

Photography Group
The BAC Photography Group is a casual, friendly group, welcoming photographers of all skill levels, to share their photos and knowledge.  The aim of the group is for members to enjoy viewing one and others artwork each month and for the experienced photographers to discuss and share technical and creative thoughts with other members.  Whether you use your phone, a point & shoot camera, or a DSLR, you are welcome to bring your photos (and a friend!) to share!

We are a diverse and creative group with members who make art  of all kinds, including fabric, paper, baskets, beads, yarn, thread, fleece, and found materials. 
Our member, Louise Krasniewicz, and I have been talking about how to bring all of us together virtually. Thanks to the new technology, Louise and I each have had several meetings via Zoom and have found that this platform works well and is not complicated to do.

This group will be a casual friendly group welcoming Watercolor Artists of all skill levels to share their paintings, techniques and knowledge.

The Plein Air Artist Group is all about leaving the 4 walls of the studio and coming together to experience the freedom of drawing and painting outdoors. All artist mediums and genres are welcome – Watercolors, Acrylics, Pastels, Oils, Charcoal, Pencil.

Leica User Group

This is a group of Leica photographers that will get together every month to share experiences, chat, learn, laugh and photograph. You do not need to be an experienced photographer. The only things required are BAC membership, and you photograph with a Leica camera, and take photography seriously.
