Photo GroupThe BelmarArts Photo Group is a casual, friendly group welcoming photographers of all skill levels, from novice to expert, to share their photos and knowledge. The aim of the group is for members to enjoy viewing one and others artwork each month and for the experienced photographers to discuss and share technical and creative thoughts with other members.

October 5- One of our members, Carmelina, has volunteered to give us a demonstration on the Lightroom Develop Module. Lightroom is the preeminent photo editing program and even if you come away with just one thing it will be a success, more than one, a home run. – Thanks Carmelina! Carmelina has asked everybody to bring questions regarding the Develop Module so that her presentation can be directed to what you need help with.
In addition, we will be discussing a trip to the Photo Expo in NYC at the Javits Center.  Our plan is to attend on Thursday Oct 22. Please bring ideas re: transportation, carpooling, meeting place for lunch at the Expo and anything else.
November 2- This month’s challenge is “Reflections.” Again, show us your best or show us the ones you are having trouble with and are looking for some help – don’t worry, we still won’t bite!
December 7 – Let’s have a little twist to a Holiday Party. We are looking for people to bring some refreshments. But in line with the goal of our group, bring your images telling a story of the creation of either a Thanksgiving dish you made or of the refreshments you are bringing to the party. Be creative – show us your ingredients, or a sink filled with all your dirty dishes or whatever!!
January 4 – This being the middle of Winter we felt that snow would be a good theme. We would like to discuss the best way to shoot snow – so please bring any hints or settings you have tried in the past that work for you.
Also you can bring “snow” images if you like. We like show them if we have time and critique them if you would like!
