Childhood contains some of our happiest and most formative memories. When we re-connect with these memories, we re-connect with our childhood emotions and open the door to learning something about our adult selves. In this session, we will remember happy moments from our childhoods, create photographs based on these recollections, and discuss the lessons we learned from these experiences.
Session Outline
• Introduction
• Benefits of Working with Your Memories
• Examples of Artists and Photographers using Memories as a Basis for Art
• Exercise for Identifying Memories
• Activity in which participants photograph objects, textures, colors, and locations they associate with their happy memory.
• Participants share the photographs and memories with the group.
