About Elizabeth Sowell-Zak
Elizabeth Sowell-Zak, is an internationally exhibiting, award-winning artist, experimenting in a multi-disciplinary, conceptual practice including painting, sculpture, photograph. The surrounding social and cultural environments, as well as, the serenity of exterior landscape inspire her work. She has innovatively mentored and educated young people and aspiring artists for more than 30 years as a community leader and as a college Professor.
Born in the suburbs of New Jersey, USA, where she earned a Masters Degree in Fine Art, 2007, from Montclair State University. Currently, she resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey and works there and in New York City.
