1. March 20: The Scoop on Self-Publishing
Self-publishing has become so popular that dozens of companies have sprung up to help – for a
price. Let’s sift through the confusion and competition to learn about the variety of indie/DIY options and
see what’s best for you.
2. March 27: Create a Kick-Ass Cover
It’s true what they say about a picture’s worth! Learn how to get readers’ attention with images that
pop, along with titles, blurbs, ISBNs, and other elements you need for a professional-caliber cover.
3. April 3: Turn Your Manuscript into a Book
Your manuscript is polished, your cover is amazing, you have your ISBN number and you’re ready to publish. Now what? This session covers basic instructions for formatting print books, ebooks and audiobooks (including title pages, chapter heads, fonts, photos, book size, paper choices, end pages and & more.) Then we’ll walk through production. We’ll also talk about strategies for pricing your book
4. April 10: Reach More Readers!
After the thrill ebbs from seeing your baby on Amazon and sending copies to friends and family, you may want to
expand your reach. Learn basic PR/marketing tips to use before and after publishing that help sell your book.
