About our Calls for Art

Entry to most Belmar Arts exhibits are open to the public, meaning that membership is not required.  Members receive a discount on entry fees and sales commissions.  Members-only shows will be designated as such in their description.  The theme, size of works, and media allowed will vary for each exhibit.  Full descriptions of our upcoming exhibits are listed below.

Juried Exhibits
Some exhibits are juried, meaning that not all works are accepted.  Notification of acceptance for a juried exhibit will be available online after the judging.

Non-juried Exhibits
Some exhibits are curated, meaning that all works meeting the entry guidelines will be included.  No notification of acceptance is sent out or posted for these exhibits. Just bring your art work in on the Drop-off dates.

 In conjunction with Belmar Arts Nature Exhibition join us for a free  presentation.  
 Monarchs: Their Lives, Our Help 
Wednesday May 13, 6:30pm.  
Journey in this beautiful slide show to the mountains of central Mexico where millions of monarchs from the U.S. over-winter in breathtaking biosphere reserves. Learn about these wondrous pollinators and how you can protect them right in your own yard. Join writer and hiking leader Merry Brennan as she shares her trip to the Mexican butterfly sanctuaries as well as tips from her many years of rearing and releasing monarchs, so you can protect and nurture these butterflies in your own yard.
