GUARDIANS OF THE GARDEN

A new community photography  project at Belmar Arts.

FREE and FUN

Walking in the neighborhoods close to our homes is a favorite exercise in these times of restricted activities. But after a while you might tire of seeing the same things along your usual route. Here is a chance to open your eyes to the wonders that lie hidden in plain sight in your neighbors' lawns and gardens.

Search for and photograph the "Guardians of the Garden" that many local yards present to their neighbors. You may have walked by these a dozen times without noticing but now is your chance to look for these whimsical and sometimes odd statues and objects that protect our local gardens. Share your digital photos by emailing  them to  info@belmararts.org and we will post them here in this slide show.

Make sure the images are sharp and at least 1000 pixels. Tell us your first name and the town they were found in.
